yall do anything with empty bottles?

My neighbor had some empty bottles blown to make spoon holders, ash trays, etc. The place he took his they were able to keep the labels, pretty cool. I have been keeping some of my hard to find empties to do the same.

That is pretty dang cool! Any pics of his ashtray with the label intact...how does that work?

And a OWA barrel would be pretty sweet...get a 12 too and we can make TDPMP

He gave me a Goose bottle a couple years ago, I'll try and remember to snap a pic of it when I get home.
I think he said she has to put some king of flim on top of the label and then heat it. I've been meaning to take 5-6 to her, going to go in my outdoor kitchen. I will try to pick her brain for more details when I go and report back.

From what I've been told the 12 isn't an option anymore. As far as BT goes it is Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Weller Special Reserve, Old Weller Antique, Elmer T. Lee and Blanton’s.

This was from earlier this year though, I doubt ETL and Blanton's are still available.

One of the liquor stores around here has been buying a decent amount of barrels recently and told me the other day that buffalo trace may not be doing them for a while. Also said they cant get elijah craig anymore either. Take it for what its worth.

Thought it would be more about the absurdity of the demand, but it was still funny...

I just got a case of ETL-is it a tough get?

I'm a mere novice at all this. So where can I find this in BR?

It's literally been a year since i've seen one on the shelf in Lafayette, much less multiple bottles. Even in the recent months, i've seen stores (outside of LA) controlling how many bottles of it each customer can purchase. So, good pick up there!

Here's the empty bottle blow down. I'll try and get some more info if anyone is interested.
