yummy. Probably the best beam product I've had

I'm quite partial to Barrel proofers though.

I'm saving mine for the birth of my son in December. It's been sitting in my liquor cabinet for a couple months now. I'm getting anxious.

Never tasted Kentucky owl. It was only released in one state correct? And the prices people were asking were crazy. What was the story behind it? Source of juice?

The wording on the source was really hazy. They mentioned Jim Rutledge of Four Roses being involved though.

I'll just leave this here...love that they tell you the bourbon is preferred at 107 proof...

Uh, I have this OWA lying around...will that work??

Also, 7 Angostura & 7 Regan's??? Damn Julian, you scary!

Screw muddling sugar with a splash of water. That is a nightmare. I read up on it and have been using sugar in the raw's liquid turbinado sugar as the simple syrup in my old fashioneds and it's great. Takes no time at all to make one now. I assume the same could apply for the Julian. And yikes, that's a lot of bitters.

What's your recipe with that liquid?

1 tsp liquid sugar
3 or 4 dashes angostura or fee brothers bitters
approx 2-2.5oz bourbon
1 maraschino cherry(I let a few drops of cherry juice get in there too)
about a quarter dollar size piece of orange peel twisted to release the oils

On another note, I located 3 different bottles of BTAC(saz, GTS, WLW) at a place for 90.00/ea. Think it's worth me making the drive on my lunch break to pick them up? WWTFDBD?

You should probably give me the name and address of said place and I'll go give them a piece of my mind.
