Found 2 lonely dusty pints on a random shelf at a corner store in the quarter...figured they'd be happier in my collection rather than next to some McCormick & green label

Just went and picked up a few more of the 4Roses private barrel bottles at Calandros. They put the 100 proof on sale for $30 and the 1792 for $20. Great prices on those bottles. Looks like they are almost out of 4Roses but had plenty of 1792 left.

Do they still have both of the 4 roses select barrels in stock? My in laws are coming to visit us this week and I asked my mother in law to stop by the one on Perkins for me. I asked her to get me a bottle of each and a bottle of the 1792. Is that the one I should have her go to or the one on government?

They are getting 2 new barrels in but It's on 4Rs timetable. They were ordered about 4 months ago. I tried the samples and plan to stock up on both accordingly. Possibly my favorite barrel selecst so far.

Yep...they are labeled barrel #1 and #2. 1 is more rye forward like normal 1792 and 2 has a distinct creaminess to it. 2 gets my vote but both are awesome
