Ugh. Way out of my price range! Thanks for the heads up. Bringing WLW,BT, Eagle Rare, I'll stop and see what else I can find.

I saw an August release date for ECSB 23

My wife surprised me with a bottle for my birthday. I just sampled it but surprisingly it wasn't overwhelmingly "woody" (at least to me). That being said, if I were going to spend that much on a bottle it wouldn't be that one.

I havent had the 23 but I did finish a 21 a few weeks ago and I forgot how much wood was on it. If the 23 is more, which im sure it is it's gotta be a woody beast

I'm out of state but I found some on the shelf the last time I was in Monroe.

Also, what's the going rate for a bottle of commemorative?

Nope. It's woody...but not too much to me. Now...I don't know about older versions. I like some wood but it might get too much later on in life. I like it tho

I gave away my bottle of Barrel Select 9 Yr. It just didn't do anything for me. I gave it to the owner of the liquor store I frequent. Hopefully that magnanimous gesture will pay dividends this fall.
