No idea honestly. Most of my stuff has been store bought. I don't have FB so I never seen BX. And I have only been drinking bourbon hard for the last cpl years.

Not much info out there about the gold wax.. The couple threads I've found are saying they went from wax to foil in 2000-2001

You've already got the only one worth making a trip to in my opinion. I'll be heading back there in December.
For being a party town, I was very surprised at the limited selection in Vegas.

I believe they are older aged. I saw a couple sell for $125-$150 a bottle after he died

From the little bit of research i've done, gold wax is no different. its not older and the proof is the same.
