I've looked all over Louisiana and the Gulf Coast for those JPS 17/18 bottles...would kill to get my hands on another one of those, I'm currently nursing the one I have.

Wish a few more places had some in stock nearby, but it seems like they can only be found further north...

S14-if she likes SM Scotch, I got a bottle of 18 yo Glenmorangie at Calandro's for $69, regular $110. More fruity, very little peat or smoke, but man, is it some smooth.

I've got 2 bottles of the 18 Jefferson PS plus the one I'm sipping. Got the last bottle of the 21 that Cuban had a couple of months ago. Pretty good stuff

That does sound like a good deal and sounds like something she'd like. Thanks.

I've got a bottle of JPS 18 that I've had one or two glasses from.
Is it really hard to get a hold of now? I thought I saw some at Marcello's last time I went. Which was about a month ago

finished the rowans creek but I don't I will buy again. It just wasnt for me. I also recently bought and finished a bottle of knob creek single barrel reserve. I thought it was great! It had that great oak taste that I like. So tonight I will be looking to purchase something else while I wait on my two bottles of 4 roses limited edition to arrive. I have recently starting seeing Large displays for Angle's envy here in FL. Havent tried it, has anyone else? Worth the money?

I tried it about a year ago when it first came out. Thought it was pretty good.

I'm also a fan of the knob creek SB reserve. For such a high proof it's a good drink.

I'll have to give that Knob Creek SB a shot at some point. The same guy who recommended the Henry McKenna recommended the Knob Creek SB as a potent, but pretty complex bourbon for the price.

It's worth a shot for sure. I'd take it over Booker's any day if I were looking for a "hot" one.

If you weren't a fan of Rowan's Creek, you might not be a fan of Angel's Envy. Both are more sweet than smokey/woodsy

i just never liked Bookers. i felt like they tried to display how high proof it is with the taste. similar to how some micro brews do with their IPAs and massive amounts of hops. just too much... for almost the same proof the knob creek is just easier to drink...for me at least
