Last pour before heading to the beach for a little fishing.

I just looked at the place I grabbed my last bottle and they upped the price by $15. If I see a good value, I'll grab a few.

If you ever make it out to Mississippi and don't mind paying $41/bottle I can email you a spot.

They have some tasting at Amendment XXI in Huntsville from time to time.

Hey guys, just finalized details and wanted to make the official announcement here first. We are having our second Bourbon BR outing a week from Thursday, the 30th, at the Cove from 7:00-9:00.
We will have three giveaways:
1. A bottle of the latest release of LA-1
2. A bottle of 4 Roses Single Barrel
3. I recently acquired a sample of all 10 4 Roses mashbills so whoever wins this will join a few of our friends and us in sampling all 10 mashbills one night. Now I only have 4 ounces of each plus we are doing all 10 mashbills so expect a small half ounce or so sample of each, don't want everyone getting wasted on us.
We picked out a flight with the Cove as well which will be $20. It'll be 4 Roses single barrel, mashbill OESQ, Old Weller Antique, and Rittenhouse Rye.
We also decided we wanted to give a special thank you to our TD guys again so the first guy to give us their TD handle will get a flight on us again.
Thanks for everyone who's given us support and for those who showed up last month! We are really looking forward to this months outing a lot. Let's rock out next week at the Cove!

Sounds like a good time but unfortunately I work every Friday, wish I could make it.

BSBR...I coach my son's 11-12 year old baseball team. We have a make up game from a rain out earlier in the season so I won't be able to make it next Thursday.

No worries guys if yall can't make it this time. Wish yall could but I'm not holding it against you. In August we are having a Saturday outing so hopefully yall can make that!

I've been eyeing Angel's Envy for a while but went with Buffalo Trace today, but I have to try Angel's Envy soon.

If you ever make it to Florida let me know. Have one spot where it's usually on the shelf at retail.

I've never had it CoachDon. But I do have an open bottle of the Woodford Reserve Four Wood that I enjoy on occasion.

What's your opinion on the Four Wood?
I didn't like it when I first got it in '09 or so but it seems better with time.
I am still kicking myself though because I spent $100 on it when there was a PVW23 sitting on the shelf in that same shop for $90.

This is actually my second bottle of it. Me and a couple of friends took out the first bottle in one sitting and really enjoyed it. Liked it so much I bought another bottle. That was over 2 years ago and I still have over half of the second bottle left. I have to be in the mood for a finished Bourbon. It is a good pour when I am in the mood for it.
Did you really by a Four Wood and leave a Pappy 23 behind?

Yep. That was back when I put a real limit on my bourbon spending and I wanted to try the WR4W since I'd never had it.
Lesson learned, buy both.
