Be honest, how does this look? It it lighter around the label due to the transfer agent.
I don’t mind the roughness of the label, I’m just trying to figure out if I need to sand down and try it again. Trim the label right to the edge, so there is no white around it.

I’ve decided to sand it down around the transfer and re-stain. The transfer was a pain in the arse.
If sanding no it down around the transfer doesn’t work, I’ll just sand it all down, re-transfer it, but cut the transfer to right at the outline.

Ok, so the distinct white oak is there on the nose but not on the taste which I am pleased with that and different from the other bottle. White oak comes through a bit on the back end.
I like this bottle a bit more

I prefer the 109.0 that I got in Houston to the 110.2 I got in Nola. Looking forward to trying the 111.6.

Before going to Nashville to watch Burbank Joe I was able to checkout Buffalo Trace and Four Roses. Only thing available for purchase at BT was eagle rare and BT. Just normal basic bottles and prices we’re higher than retail in BR so I only picked up some glassware. Grabbed these bottles from four roses.
