I can't say that I don't have the exact same question. I'm working on trying to get an answer, if I can.

My answer is "some really good juice distilled in 1980". Lol

I'm guessing someone has talked about it in the past but I'm way too lazy to comb through this whole thread. I'm looking for opinions on Lagavulin 12. My 2 favorite scotches are Lag 16 and Ardbeg Uigeadail. The cask strength Lag 12 seems like it could be the best of both worlds.

Got some new, interesting single malts. New to MS at least. Amrut is an Indian whiskey with these new finishes. Sullivan Cove is from Australia and consistently gets some really good reviews.
