Did you use the same amount of alcohol it called for? How strong was it? I want to make it for my family's Christmas party Saturday but I don't want it to be so strong that I'm the only one that will drink it. Not that that's a bad thing but I'd like for other to enjoy it as well.

I did. No one at my party complained about it being too strong. I was a little hesitant at first with the 2.5 cups, but it came out perfectly, IMO. It had a little kick but not too overbearing.

I was a big Crown drinker before my eyes were opened (with help from this thread), and now it turns my stomach.
There has to be something from the Great White North other than Crown and Canadian Club.
