Considering doing a whiskey tasting soon with friends in the 15-100 range.

Already have:

Glenlivet 12
Ardbeg 10
Basil hayden's
Evan Williams bottled in bond
Tullamore dew
Red breast
Gentleman Jack
Elijah Craig small batch
1792 small and full proof
Tin cup
Buffalo trace
BAW
Jim beam black , devil's, the
Bulleit bourbon and rye
High west
Monkey shoulder
Barely bourbon
Knob creek
Four roses

Any recs for a few more?

Tossing in the budgets to prove a point

The plan is to progress from lightly sweet to very to spicy to ardbeg.

I’d consider starting at the lowest ABV and working your way up.

It’s taken me forever to finish that bottle. The scotch taste kinda throws me off but it does say single malt on the label.

Yeah. I absolutely love it. Very unique. I love scotch as well. I actually started drinking scotch and then turned on to bourbon but this bottle is one of my favorites. Not that it is a bourbon but I love the flavor. My buddy has the regular bottle and we compared it to my Bourbon Fest pick. Similar but the BF pick really stood out. However I do have a few friends who don’t care for it much.

And on to the second one...keeping it in the family somewhat. This one is good but I don’t think I’ll replace it with another right away.

How is it? I see a lot of people getting it by mail. Haven’t heard of anyone finding it local? Does it have a smoke flavor or is that just in the name? Does it stand out from bourbons you have had in the past?

No smoke, it has this butterscotch smoothness. I love it. They have a barrel proof that goes quickly that I want to get.

We're good. Delta didn't do any additional damage to us. We took a vacation right after that we booked months ago, just what we needed. Roof is still tarped, fighting with insurance to replace the whole thing instead of patching it, but we're very fortunate. Today has been good, and it'll all work out!
