The new place on Verot, Bon temp grill, is damn good. The mrs and I tried it out the other day.

Shrimp n grits were killa

Yeah we used to go often when I lived on that side of town. Food was consistently good and service was great.

Yes, it's the old Deaneaux's. Tim Metcalf is part owner still.

I've heard their charbroiled oysters are good. Haven't had them.

They had a brunch similar to blue dog at one time, not sure if they still do it.

Agreed. Chargrilled Ersters are great, but the service is spotty. Good people there though, and I don't want them to close. It is just that that spot is a tough location.

Decent pizza, I've been twice and wasn't blown away by anything there.
