Woodford Reserve or Eagle Rare Reserve, both excellent bourbon - splash of water drinks, which is really the only way to drink small batch bourbon....

Baker's, Booker's, Knob Creek.
Buffalo Trace is pretty good, too.

Where the frick are you people from?
Pappy Van Winkle and A. H. Hirsch are the best bourbons money can buy. Not cheap, but if you really love bourbon, it's worth it.
The best mass-produced bourbon I have had is the Jack single barrel - the one with the wooden handle.

I'm a simple man- mostly 8 yr old charter. But I would throw a bottle of 1792 in for a vote as the best bourbon Ive had

Coe Dupuis was still making whiskey at the age of 96, at which age he passed away ten years ago this week. Does your Dad have any left?

Makers, 1792, and Eagle are great, but if you have not tried Makers 46, do yourself a favor and buck up for some.
Very smooth!!

quote:Sure, but try buying some Pappy Van Winkle 20, it's absolutely maddening trying to find it.
