It may not, but I’d be willing to bet it’s a small % that can taste differences (unless it’s rot gut).
Add in mixers and that makes the % infinitesimal.

I'm in this camp. I don't think I could discern the difference between middle and top shelf with mixers. Maybe it's a little easier for those who drink it often...I just have an occasional mule.

Agree about the mixers, but you can tell differences. I've done some taste tests. Now, I'm not saying I can do a blind taste test and pick which is which, but you can do a blind taste test and pick out your favorite (which I realize is a subjective opinion).

Sometimes it would last into the third day. Almost exclusively mixed with sparkling water and lime (topo Chico). Generally mixed in a football stadium cup. Like really large drinks. I managed to get up at 6am and go to work, too.
