I'll probably slow cook a roast. It's easy and allows more time to watch the Masters.

I gave a thought to a leg of lamb til I saw the 78 dollar price tag. Now for those that believe there is no inflation in America as that is what they are told on the news. That price is 100% higher than two years ago.

Going to husband's mom for ham. My items to bring: Corn and rolls. They are very bland eaters. But I do have a corn recipe that has cream cheese and american cheese that they all love now. And we upgraded them from brown and serve rolls to yeast rolls. Other items on the menu: Potato casserole, macaroni and cheese and green beans. Not sure what else. Cake for dessert.

Do you bring the 'other' with you at these family gatherings? Just wondering how you explain that away?

Count- true story not appropriate for F&D board. My son introduced his gf at christmas to my hubs family. My daughter introduced her bff as her gf and no one batted an eye. She is coming with me tonight for burgers at my cousin's house since her husband is out of town.

I'll be holding down the fort on my own East Sunday. Maybe I'll grill some redfish.
