I find high quality hot dogs, like Hebrew National come out great.

I hate crap in a boil. If I have extra guests and limited crawfish I will throw some lil smokies in occasionally, they don't grease the pot up too bad and I will snack on them so the guests can have all the crawfish they want.

But to hell with it, Id much much rather eat boiled crawfish than boiled meat.

People like to have other things. Potatoes are a must generally is one meat that isn't crawfish.

Last boil I went to, dude soaked cans of green beans with holes in them. They were good.
Salty though.
