What size pot for about a 13lb pastalaya

I have a 20 gallon and a 10

10 gallon pot will be more than enough.

I’m sure the 20 is overkill but I don’t mind having some splash room

You can use the Jambalaya Calculator for this. Just use the "By Rice and Meat" tab and enter the pounds of pasta instead of rice.
A pound of rice makes 7.5 cups of cooked rice and a pound of pasta yields about 8 cups cooked. The difference is pretty negligible. Just don't put your desired fill level too close to 100%.
According to the calculator, it indicates a 10-gallon pot would be sufficient.

10 will work, but I would probably use the 20
