what a cringe worthy name

It's Wine Loft with a new name (obviously attempting to be trendier)

I do but I like certain items there only ;)

Someone the other day posted a negative review and he listed the tapas I dislike. I think ipo is very good when you order the right ones, but unfortunately, I can't rave too much about a restaurant that can deliver a negative experience when you order certain other items :/

Rohan: Beausoliel has a new menu. I haven't tried it out yet but I've heard great things. Plus people go there just to drink so you don't look weird.

Blend (the great wine bar downtown) has a charcuterie plate that looks promising if you check out their menu online. While at it, I'm sure Bin 77 and Loft offer it as well.

Off highland near Blue Bayou, not really the same area you were asking about. Worse case Ruffinos is just down the street.

Ipo is on third street downtown..

Actually it's not at all. Wine Loft was a dark cave. This is a bright, pretty space with very well made cocktails. Food isn't bad at all from what ive heard when there. Owned halfway by Sean Malone, who is head of food and beverage at Lauberge.

I haven't had their charcuterie plate so I have no idea what will its like but the menu says:

CHARCUTERIE ~MEATS~
{SERVED WITH CRISPY FLATBREAD, GRAIN MUSTARD, HOUSE PICKLED VEGETABLES}
SMOKED DUCK HAM - HOUSE CURED
SERRANO HAM - SPAIN
SUMMER SAUSAGE - SAN FRANCISCO
CURED LAMB CARPACCIO - HOUSE MADE
SOPRESATTA - ITALY

FROMAGE ~CHEESE~
{SERVED WITH CRISPY FLATBREAD, RED BELL PEPPER AND STRAWBERRY JAM, GRAPES, ROASTED CASHEWS}
PORT SALUT - COWS MILK, FRANCE
POINT REYES BLUE CHEESE - COWS MILK, CALIFORNIA
HUMBOLDT FOG - GOAT'S MILK, CALIFORNIA
MATURE WHITE CHEDDAR - COW'S MILK, UNITED KINGDOM
QUESO MANCHEGO - SHEEP'S MILK, SPAIN

Think it is Bacchus Bistro and Bar.

Wine/tapas type place off Highland. Don't think they have a website, but I can stop in and grab a menu if there is any interest.

They were just a wine shop, but expanded last year to a wine bar. Did an awesome job with the interior considering they are in a strip mall.

Last time I was at Schlitz, it looked like something besides City Pork Charcuterie and Deli was in that spot. Any word?

I've 86'ed the charcuterie idea. I don't want a mediocre salumi plate with some cubed cheddar, brown mustard and pepperoni slices.

Bin 77 is way above that fyi. They have a decent selection of cheeses and meats.
