What is the point of cheesy bread with red sauce on side?

I see people order this all the time and fundamentally there’s very little difference between cheesy bread and a cheese pizza. I guess some make cheese bread with French toast but many places use pizza crust

The ingredients are the same, but the sauce changes the cook of the bread when it is a pizza compared to when it is a dipping sauce.

Red zeppelin doesn’t use their crust for their cheesy bread, it’s more like French bread. It’s delicious, especially the jalapeño or pesto varieties.
