Put your big girl panties on and just go eat some, form your own opinion.

Had pho tai today. It was pretty good for the first time. I'll be eating more in the future.

I had some this week. It's good but I do think that it's getting a little on the trendy side sort of like the sushi explosion. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's good when things like this make it to small town America IMO.

Really dumb post.

Of course that's the ultimate answer, minus the condescension of course.

Pho isn't my favorite. I'm not a fan of star anise, so sometimes that's all I can taste and it ruins it for me. But I like it when the star anise is much lower profile than the meat, broth, and basil flavors.

Go somewhere more authentic first.

There's a little place here in Louisville called Vietnam Kitchen that was the first place I had Pho. It was fantastic. The ultimate comfort food. The only other place I've had anything close to it was another legitimate Vietnamese place called Pho Binh Minh.

Almost any place I've tried it here that is a "trendy" chain or a fusion place it just doesn't really come close. Still good but just not the same.
