The one in Ellic is nice. Albertson's is the only other place I'd consider, but there's always the chance I get lost in the beverage or snack cove and spend 4 days getting out.

^This. In Shreveport, I usually shop at the nice Brookshires at Line and Pierremont. After shopping there, I find every other grocery store disappointing. It costs more, but I just like the store better.

I wish I lived closer to that store, but the Krogers on Youree is not that far off from quality.

The best thing about that new store is scoop your own area in the front. That's the first place I go.

If I remember correctly, they have gas pumps at that one that always have prices comparable to Sam's.

People wait in line there for gas. I have to look away and think about something else to get that concept out of my head.

Is that the one with the Starbucks? We stopped there on my way back from my South LA vacation.

Totally, I actually live closer to the ghetto Brookshire's but drive to Line Ave.

Hah. I love how you refer to it as "ghetto" brookshires and instantly everyone knows which one youre talking about. The only good thing about ghetto brookshires is the large selection of 40's. Nice brookshires only has fancy beer in 40s, ghetto brookshires has everything.

Shreveport is scary. Take 220 around Shreveport and get off in Bossier.

Actually, that Kroger's is in Bossier. And it is the nastiest Kroger's I have ever seen.

Hating? Where's the hating? But if I were, I'd be justified since CENLA is pretty much the greatest single place in the world. See outdoor board where Chalice gets his arse schooled like no one's business.
