Chili and cheese over zoodles

and a salad

Still thinking about you guys and hoping Entergy gets their act together.

Mom was doing fine today and then the hallucinations started back. They are now trying to adjust her meds again. Thanks for your prayers.

Jambalaya. While it's still hot out, fall is here.

You had a good outing today, coach.

I'm a sucker for all the cheeses at WF too.

Wife hates it when I come home with 3 different cheeses, because, number 1 it's pricey, and number 2 I'll eat it so sparingly over too long a period of time (trying to budget my cheese consumption) that the cheese will go bad, making it more expensive.

I hate when that happens

Have been at work for the past week, needed a breather today so went up and down 190 a bit in Covington. Saw some people with “free hot meal” signs so I pulled in and got a plate of jambalaya. It was actually pretty good and I’m thankful for what those people are doing

hey GRT, I know I’ve been nonexistent for sometime but obviously you understand why. I’m good, I was able to run home yesterday and a pecan tree came down in my backyard and one limb is ever so gently touching my patio roof so I really lucked out. Hammond/toula area around me got wrecked though. How did y’all make out? It feels really good to be back on here even though I’m not at my home. TD is home and can travel with me

best guess for my area is 2-3 weeks. Work has provided lodging though so I’m able to save gas. I’ve got my own room with power, ac and a full kitchen so I’m good

ETA: and wifi lol. When do the kids go back to school?

just as well start Thursday because of Rosh Hashanah. I thank Trim and you for wondering about me in the lunch thread. Madamesquirrel informed me of it in the current LNST on tOT
