It sounds like to me you are living in a spirit and continuous state of fear. God does not call us to live like this. Refer to 2 Timothy 1 verse 7: “for god gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self control”
To me it sounds like your fear allowed you to miss the opportunity to share a meal and enjoy the power of love. Do not live in fear brother for your spirit stands right with god. Fear can be crippling and allow you to miss moments God intents for abundance and joy.
