where's your hotel? most of the halal carts are decent. just the basic chicken and rice (be sure and add hot sauce). but the one at 53 and 6 is the best in the city.

Neighbor cooked a roast and invited us over
Was simply delicious. Roast, rice, gravy, corn. lima beans, desserts from Champagnes grocery.
Priest of our former parish was present (again), so lots of lively discussion about church issues, without all the singing.

oh man you're not too far from my old crib. only 20 blocks north. not a whole lot of late night food around there that I know of, but there's a cool horse racing bar/pub just a block south of Penn Station that's cool if y'all need a decent bar close.
