That bitch fought for a good 30 minutes.

Over 100lbs. I'm 6'2". That picture doesn't do that shark justice.

She was good though. Had a friend that managed the Chimes fry it up for us, and we gave half away to people sitting at the bar that day (regulars mostly). Caught it off Horn Island.

i shot one out of necessity.

we were diving off a rig and one of the guys with us and had never been diving. we told him, dont grab the rig, slide your hands on it,etc. well that dumbass grabs one of the rig supports and it slices his hands to the bone.
blood is everywhere, before we can start ascending sharks are circling. i found the smallest one and shot it. the other sharks attacked it so we could get to the boat

I had a buddy get the benz(sp) from a similar situation. He didn't decompress because of being chased up by a shark. Not sure which type.

He recovered, but it was still scary as hell. Diving stories always scare me more than any other scenario.

I've been going out with my brother in law, (plastic surgeon) hunting and fishing lately.

He's recently finished and has time for fun these days. He keeps a kit with blades, stuff to string us up if we get cut, local, etc. Kind of like having a little ER everywhere we go.
