i went by yesterday at 10am. Line was out the door, 45 minute wait unless you were willing to sit outside with the smokers. Buncha friggin atheists up in there who should have been at church, so that i could get my brunch on.

I work across the street and have yet to go for lunch. Their regular food doesn't excite me, though I do like the burgers.
Work down the street and done figured out stick to the sandwiches and burgers.
The Lunch specials and most of the entrees are not good. But I have liked every sandwich/Burger/Po-boy I have had there.
Try the Cuban sometime.

I sometimes crave the broiled oysters at Mason's with the melted cheese on top. I'd always ask to sample first if possible the gumbo or etouffee before ordering. They're very hit or miss, mostly miss.

These are the few things I would avoid IMO.
Not a fan of Mozzarella cheese on an oyster, sorry.
And the one time I tried it the etouffee was one of the worse I ever had.

I hear ya, and I know it's not for everyone. But it works for me. And their etouffee rivals City Cafe's for being pretty bad.
