Based on what’s open here now, how would you structure an eating/drinking weekend in NOLA? Have a buddy coming to town on business and kinda feel clueless since I haven’t been out really. He’s a causal guy nothing fancy- burgers/wings/oysters/poboy type of guy but loves his beer, and gambling which is on the agenda.

Also thinking about just picking him up after work on Friday and bypassing NOLA and doing Biloxi/Ocean Springs for the weekend instead. WWYD?

There isn't a lot to do to kill time in NOLA right now. Everything is closed if it isn't outdoors, except the Casino.

Foodwise will be better than Biloxi.

Blue Oak always has good beer on tap and good wings + BBQ of course

Good Burgers and beer at Backyard in Lakeview.

He’s staying CBD and I’ve got a room at Harrahs- I live here though so we have transport. Just wondering if a blue oak/bulldog/tchoup yard/wrong iron type bar hop would be feasible- I have no idea what’s open right now and where we can hang and sit and drink.

Sounds like a solid plan.

This is definitely feasible. All of the above are open, just table service only.
