Weber Searwood 600 or Recteq Patio King 600?

After a 2 year fiasco with a Weber EX4 they are shipping me a Searwood 600 to replace it. I'm kind of leery about keeping it after what I went through with the EX4. I'm considering trying to sell it new in box and getting a Recteq Patio King instead. The man math makes sense, I probably wouldn't have to come out of pocket for the Recteq. Does anybody here have any experience with the Searwood or Patio King?
Not sure it's worth the hassle of dealing with FB Marketplace people.

It would be worth getting out of the Weber universe for pellet grills. I love the brand, but I got screwed on the original Smokefire. I have a Lone Star Grillz pellet now and couldn't be happier.

I’ve had a Searwood 600 for about a year now. Love it

I’ve had a Searwood 600 since last fall. I have not fired up my kettle or WSM since. It's worked well for cooks of whole turkey, lots of ribs, wings, goat leg, leg of lamb, and pork loin. I still haven't done an overnight brisket, mainly due to the damned price of beef.
Still use my Weber Genesis gasser equipped with GrillGrates to sear steaks and make burgers. The Searwood is a fine product for smoking, but despite its name it can't hold a candle to the Genesis/GrillGrates combo for searing. It probably does better than most pellet cookers in that department, but still.
There are lots of videos out there, but I enjoyed the several on Searwoods from The Basement Hangout guys. They pitted it head to head with many other pellet grills, tried every trick they could to beat it, but the Searwood kept winning their blind taste tests.
View to a Grill is another good channel. I think Johnny ultimately went with another cooker (Spider Grill?) after a head to head, but he does some cooks with the Searwood that point out its strengths and weaknesses. Well edited and relatively short videos.
Twice, I fired up my Searwood for say 400, and the temps just kept climbing out of control. Had to put it in shut down mode (takes 12 minutes or so) and start over. I think the issue was a dirty temperature sensor/probe inside the cookbox because other potential causes were not present. I make it a habit now to wipe that probe clean before each cook. So far, so good.
Smokin' Pecan pellets are made from pecan shells in Mansfield, LA. Not the cheapest, but they get rave reviews from several tubers. The price is compensated for by the fact (tested) that they burn less to achieve a temp. Comparisons also indicate that they impart more smoke flavor than other pellets.

What do you think of it as far as build quality? Do you think it'll last 5-10 years?

I had this problem every other time I fired the EX4 up. I'd rise 100-150 degrees over the set point then flame out.

I'll check them out, thanks.

I do. I put it together myself, and it seems pretty durable in construction. As for the computer part of it, who knows?
They are made to be able to stay out in the weather, but leaving electronics out there just seems to be tempting disaster. I wheel mine under my patio when not in use.
Speaking of wheels, they suck. Most reviewers point out that only two wheels, and not casters, is shitty. Some folks have come up with methods to add casters, which I may do one day.

Good deal, I went to Lowe's and checked it out and it doesn't seem as heavy duty as the EX4. I probably shouldn't be comparing the two because the EX4 is overbuilt AF. The EX4 is about 50 lbs heavier per online specs.
The main reason I'm worried about this is because the new Searwood doesn't come with a new warranty, it's still under the EX4 warranty duration. I've only got about a month left.
