Weber Genesis at Costco

Saw the Weber Genesis S-345 at Costco today for $999. I can't remember the last time I saw Weber grills at Costco.
Seems to be a pretty good deal, as it is a 3 burner Genesis with an additional sear burner and a side burner.
It comes with a cover and an iGrill 3 with 4 probes. Just the igrill alone can run over $100.
Similar grills at Lowes or Home Depot are more expensive and don't include the iGrill 3 or the cover (sold separately).
I don't need one right now, but thought others might be interested.

As someone who loves doing bbq now, you can get a great smoker that also has the ability to grill and sear for the same price. That would be where I'd spend my money.

BGE or Kamado Joe - Awesome for all purpose but takes a while to heat
Gas Grills - Quick start
Traegar - Very good for smoking and controlled heat.
I can only afford one so settled on the KJ. I love to grill. I wish I had an outdoor kitchen. I'd live in that SOB!

I had a KJ but my firebox cracked several times. They replaced it but seems to be an issue

New ones don’t have the issue with new design. They replaced it though didn’t they?

I saw one at our local Costco, shocked to see a Weber there. They even had the floor model marked down to $850.

Costco Roadshow is where I got mine. Got the floor model BJ and the Jr. was free. They don’t do that deal anymore though.
