Venison in North Louisiana.

I’m not a hunter for the most part so I don’t have my own, but venison is probably my favorite meat. When I lived in Houston, there was a place called Pete’s Fine Meats where I would buy backstraps and other cuts. Does anyone know if there is anywhere like that in North Louisiana? Or all of Louisiana for that matter. I’m willing to drive

If you’re in Ruston check with the Deer Factory in Dubach. Or maybe Bayou Butchers in sterlington. I’m sure there are plenty of other places that I’m not aware of.
Another option would be asking a redneck buddy (a trustworthy one) that kills 10 deer a season to kill you one and drop it off at the processor for you.
