Headed to Vegas on Wednesday for a couple of days for work. Staying at the Wynn. What's some good eats in that area? TIA

Spring Mountain Rd. ends right at the Wynn. If it were me, I'd be taking a cost effective bus (or taxi) up Spring Mtn. to Kabuto. If you'd like a true Japanese dining experience, this is for you. If you've seen the documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi, it's the closest you'll get to it in the States. Yeah, there's sushi everywhere in Vegas, but this is the real deal and it's in my rotation every time I'm in Vegas.
Some of the best and cost effective food can be found off the Strip, and it's good to get away from that circus sometimes.
Also, check out this Vegas restaurant forum. Lots of good info there, including recommendations from locals.
Folks here have raved about Circus Circus steakhouse. I've never been.
