I went to the Canes in Metairie a few weeks ago and went inside. I ordered a 3 piece and when they brought it to the counter, it was 3 pretty scrawny pieces. I think the counter girl saw the expression on my face and she told me to hold up, she took the tray and went to the kitchen window, said something to the guy there, and he added another piece to my order. I think she was embarrassed at the size of the pieces.

We ate at Canes in Columbus OH last week ordered a 3 pc and a 5pc for the family to split, between 3 of us and we actually got 9 tenders. They were all good size.

The one here in Houston at the drive-thru always gives me an extra piece but I only get strips. I eat them like back strap - with ketchup, white bread and milk. But now even with the extra piece and them not being as good and much smaller as opposed to the two other places that are better and closer to my house, it is not worth it to go there.

Had Canes last weekend. Probably the 3rd time in the past 2 years. I thought they were actually bigger than I had gotten before.

There's a Cane's opening here in Katy in a couple weeks. You know they'll be selling full-sized tenders [at first].

I went a week ago and all my tenders were at least twice the size as that. I do agree they have shrunk but feel this is over played.

they can shrink them because they are catered towards kids

Todd Graves just announced that since they don't have to pay Les any longer the portion sizes will increase.
