My wife told me she used waitr to buy a 14 dollar cup of coffee, after fees and tip, from pjs while at work the other day, I had no words and just walked away.

If you like the business you are ordering from use waitr. The commission from uber eats is very significant while waitr is much less

I haven't tipped. Those guys get paid a fixed rate just to be on call from what my friend told me

My retired Dad does Uber Eats, he only gets paid for deliverie, as far I know. And the few Uber gives him isn't much.

Heard UBER gets 35% of each sale, not much left for the business.. Crazy! WAITR is much less than that

That's not true at all. Uber pays the driver roughly $1/mile (restaurant to drop off distance only), and about $3 for pickup and drop off. That makes up 75% of the charge. Uber gets the other 25%.

So for a $10 charge, the driver will get about $7.50, and Uber gets $2.50; and the driver can expect to drive about 4 miles for that 4 and a half miles from pickup to drop off for that trip.

Guess the girl at work lied to me. She said she got paid just being on call during busy dinner times.

I'll hook Latoya up with a few extra bucks next time

Waitr allows you to order and pick up your food, which for me rocks.

What's the fee for this?

I haven't looked at Waitr in a long time because I remember it being more expensive on larger orders I was looking at, I believe the total fee was a percentage of the bill compared to Uber Eats charging a flat fee?
