I've heard great things about it, but have never had it (that I remember).

I love that beer. They do have quality control problems though-some bottles are off. I got a bad bottle last week.

It's okay. Not near as good as the Fat Jack, but it's by no means a bad Pumpkin beer. It's better than the Shocktop, Blue Moon, etc. Honestly, I think it's better than Post Road.

Sadly post road isn't that good.

I had this one Sunday night. Wasn't bad at all but it certainly wasn't a Pumpkinator or Pumpking.

it was ok.. but I need to find something that rivals Spaten's Frank Hefe. That seems to be the bar so far. Taking suggestions..

LH Nitro is very very good.

I've only had one bad one. A few good ones and many, many great ones. I love Endeavor.

Had a couple Canebrakes with dinner at Red Zep. Also need to replenish the bottle supply.

You and B know how Parish is doing? Canebrake must be a real money maker for them. I want to try Envie again.

Installed a couple more 60 bbl fermenters a few weeks back to help keep up with demand. Hope they can finally start making the Envie? But if I had to guess, this will only allow them to keep up with the draft and bottle demand for Canebrake in the current markets. Gonna need more fermenters and space to make the other beers. Only my opinion though.

That and they're looking for a co-brewer.

I'm sure they're doing fine.

For bottles pick up Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier or Ayinger Bräu-Weiss

If you go look on tap somewhere, try Live Oak

I think the Sierra Nevade Kellerweis is the best american made hefe on the market and probably the best hefe you can get in America since it doesn't have to be imported and hefes are good young. The best German version is the Weihenstepahner Hefeweissbier.

THAT is a mighty bold statement. Not saying I disagree, but just saying.

I haven't tried the Kellerweis, but I have tried Live Oak's hefe, and it is really good, and rated 2nd behind Weihenstephaner on Beer Advocate

I wouldn't mind giving the SN a try

fwiw, Live Oak is at #6 on Rate Beer

SN Kellerweis is at 9 and 10, respectivly, so almost certainly a really good beer
