I think I'm gonna try this, this weekend. Maybe I'll mix in a little powder boil in my flour. Also, I wonder how a little bit of liquid crab boil mixed in with buttermilk would work.
I'll probably try a couple different ways.

well, i gave the coat,refrigerate,coat method a shot yesterday. Totally forgot to take pics. so,i'll do that next time.
The flour was pretty much soaked through after sitting in the fridge for 2 hours. put the pieces back in the flour and it stuck really well.the crust came out thick and crispy. I tried the 2 stage frying method from the other chicken thread but, i think i messed that part up a bit. The crust burned a little during the second step.
Definitely going to do this again.

I figured that flour would be pretty moist. Glad it crisped up nicely.

I watched the clip but had to kill it as soon as the chicken was done.
Those daytime talk shows drive me up the wall with how they are always talk, talk, talking as fast as they can about what is usually absolutely nothing. I can't even stand to be in a doctor's waiting room or the barber shop if they have one of those on.
