they always want to eat at mediocre places like Mike Anderson's or Ralph & Kakoo's.

When you combine the time and monetary investment necessary to eat at one of these nicer places like Gino's, Ruffino's, Beausoleil,

I guarantee you'll spend less eating at Beausoleil than you will at Mike Anderson's, and get much better food.

[q, uote]Capital City Crawfish (just legit in every sense of the word. Good boudin, great po'boys, spicy boiled seafood, reasonable price. Their roast beef po'boy may be the best in BR and can hold its own against the best in New Orleans) [/quote]

Although the place doesn't make my top 10, I do agree that the roast beef po-boy is the best in town and at a great price (much better than Past Time, twice the size, about $3 cheaper). Great staff as well.

TJ Ribs chicken wings are the truth. They smoke them for hours and then flash fly them to go along with the delicious sauce they put on them. Their wings are the hidden gem of baton rouge imo.

To answer the OP though,
TJ Ribs
Masons
Chelseas
Louisiana Lagniappe
Thai Chili
Zea's
Flemmings
