He just said the 4th was Monday. Then when someone corrected him he said sometimes you don’t celebrate on the actual day

Tom just let a caller know that he hasn’t been to Blue Oak because it is too new. Yet he continually pimps restaurants that have been open for less time

I only listen to the weekend shows, and I agree that in the past few months, his memory/forgetfulness has gotten considerably worse. He will be in the middle of a sentence and stop because he completely forgets what he was talking about. If I was his family, I would be seriously concerned. It’s not just “senior moments” here and there, it happens frequently through the show.
And as someone who also finds him to be pretentious, I listen because I like the show itself, and to hear what the callers ask, but feel bad for him when he forgets what he’s talking about, because as bad as it’s become, I feel like there’s a health issue.

Tom was gonna go to Blue Oak once, but he forgot the address. So, he went to Corky’s on Vets instead. (In his mind, it’s still there)

I try to listen, but I can't stand his lips constantly smacking while he talks. The way he can't remember what he just said and gets even more flustered sounds like he's had a stroke.
