This makes me really happy! These guys run a great "restaurant" (in quotes because they don't have their own dedicated space right now) here in SF and now they are having an all you can eat crawfish boil! $25 may seem like a lot, but for San Fran...I will take it. PLUS, I know that I can get my money's worth because I peel hella fast!!

My only concern is that it seems that they may not be boiling them ON SITE, but rather having them flown in already boiled...

Saturday, April 10, 2010 Time: 1:00pm - 6:00pm

Location: 2829 California ( Back Courtyard)

Description So Crawfish season is in full swing and we're itching to get the 1'st boil of the season under the belt...well over the belt in the belly! We are flying in 600lbs from Tony's in Baton Rouge along with spicy potatoes and corn. For those not willing to get dirty, we will have crawfish poboys and crawfish pasta on hand. We'll also have plenty of Abita beer and lemonade to quench your thirst. It's gonna be all you can eat crawfish for $25. Space will be limited so we are doing pre-sale for this event. For ordering log-on to www.whereyats.com.

$25 bucks all you can eat in San Francisco? Thats a freaking deal man. Buy your ticket. Even if Tony's does ship them already boiled.

But as far as that newsletter saying crawfish season is in full swing thats false. Been cold here and this will be a late season this year. April will be the big month this year. Crawfish still in the mid 2 dollar range per pound live here.

Yeah, I don't think the guy knows what he is getting into with me! Also, I had heard the same about crawfish season and was surprised when I read that.

Congrats.

Try not to fill up on corn and potatoes. You can make those anytime you want.

Stick to the crawfish and make them pay.

Wow. This was a great event! For $25 I ate my fill Nd left with more crawfish on the way. I was there from just after 1 till 6:30! He charged $10 for beer which included a keg of Abita amber. The crawfish came from Sal's in Kenner and besides for a couple of batches that were too salty the crawfish were great! Dude was using 3 burners to boil and there was lag time bu all in all everyone enjoyed themselves.
