Im from nj and follow a bunch of new breweries there. A few are less than 20 miles away from nyc. So by your logic, they should have a times square stout and central park porter. I mean, why not associate with the big city to get more revenue?
It would certainly be smarter than associating it with Newark or something. And yes, I'm sure if I tried enough I could find a fair amount of New Jersey businesses that service NYC exclusively for a number of reasons and are largely associated with NYC. They had a butcher company that used to be in NYC and moved to NJ and you think they don't associate with NYC still? (Food Network show). Please dude. And you act like you don't care but you post on their facebook page? Get a life. You're from New Jersey so this shouldn't be this big of a concern for you.

. Im still waiting for the name of a beer after a city 70 miles away.
Yazoo Brewing is based in Nashville but named after Yazoo, MS. Not sure if that counts.
That said, neutral ground porter is fricking stupid. Being based in BR, paved median porter would be more appropriate.

What a retarded name for a Baton Rouge beer.
I think retarded names are par for the course around there.
