With it feeding 12, sides included, $100 per person for a prime tomahawk at a steakhouse in Vegas really isn't too outrageous. I've spent more than a bill on a meal in Vegas.

The only Vegas steakhouse I frequent is Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak

I've been there. Started with the fois gras and ended up with Wagyu flat iron. One of the best comped meals I've never paid for.

A $1200 prime rib for 12? Not terrible.

Very reasonable if you have enough people.
I did the baller board at Georgia James in Houston at around that price/person. Super fun experience for only slightly more than the usual per person price at these high end steakhouses.

At MB Steak inside Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, this dry-aged, seven-boned tomahawk serves 12. Unlike your average steakhouse steak order, however, sides are included, making the hefty price tag for the 16-pound ribeye at least marginally more digestible.
Along with the massive cut of beef, tables are served an assortment of six decadent side dishes including lobster mac and cheese, creamed corn with king crab and roasted poblano, maitake mushrooms with aged goat cheese and creamed spinach with a poached egg and truffle gouda.
With those sides it doesn't sound like too much of a rip off

Check out Bazaar Meat by José Andrés if you really want to spend some coin on steaks
