When did we, as a society, just give up?

Or, a corollary question: when did we all become perpetual children? We used to be eternal teens, now we've devolved into a nation of 8 year olds.

God fricking forbid someone have a little fun or feel some nostalgia. Would rather a nation of children than a nation of uptight twats

I let my kid have a pack. He picked watermelon. They were as nasty as you would imagine.

I wasted about $1.50 on the Jello flavors brand sharing with Jolly Ranchers. Not very much flavor and what flavor was there was not very JR-ish.

Still have a package on the shelf and even having last wisdom tooth cut out yesterday I have no plans to make that packet of Jello into anything.

Hard candies or bust for JR.

These JR ones were the only Pop Tarts remaining on the shelf just prior to Harvey.

That told me all I needed to know.

I just don't think Jolly Rancher flavor transfers well to something of that volume.

I spent 3.00 on a JR slushee at the gas station the other day. It was good for a little while until I was left with a full cup of frozen ice with no flavor at all. Slushees are the biggest rip offs.
