There was one in Scott, LA for a while but it looks like they shut it down.

I love the atmosphere of the original place (havent been since fire) The BBQ however is just ok. Like other I find the sauce to be too sweet and I even like sweet sauce. Had the same issue with the ribs overcooked and didnt appear to be cooked on a smoker.

Agreed, meat is cooked well but the sauce could be better

I ate at the one in Scott or wherever and enjoyed it. Last year or the year before I ate at the original one and it was basically inedible.

I aint that picky and I threw it out along with the lukecool beer they served me.

that is what I got that was terrible. they were dry, flavorless and kinda grey looking. It was awful.

The beans were out of a can and the potato salad was room temp, or outside temp...

I ate at the Gulfport location last November. I was kinda sick, so I wasn't super hungry. I hoped it would've been better. I guess my expectations were too high, thought it was going to be this transcendent BBQ experience, but it was just ok. Had better, had worse. The people I was with really dug it though.
