When the original Rudy’s owner passed or sold or whatever went down their food quality nosedived. I hunted in the Boerne area as a youth and we did Rudy’s a few times a season. When I went back about 3 or 4 years ago it was not the same. Over salted, over smoked, and over priced.
The shed in MS never impressed me so I never made it over to this one in BR.

No one is going to The Oasis to eat at The Shed. Louisiana/Mississippi need to stop doing BBQ.
I've been to the the original Shed. It sucks. Plain and simple. Crappy bbq. Absolutely could not hang in KC or Texas.
There is good bbq in Louisiana, however, in Luling. Gonzo's is absolutely terrific.
