Fish and chips in newspaper

First time in London with my dad, and we had the cabbie at the airport take us to his favorite fish n chips place. Before even checking in at the hotel.
We ate a lot of fish and chips that trip!

English breakfast and traditional Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding are epic comfort food.
Good fish and chips is great too, and I even really like the mushy peas. Often they have a kind of minty flavor that is really nice.
I've found that what they call their foods don't do them any favors, but if you can get past putting blood sausage or spotted dick in your mouth, it's good stuff.
