Has anyone been? It seems to stay pretty busy the last few times I drove by.

I went. Inside is pretty nice, bar is pretty big with a viewing window for oyster shucking. I was feeling super adventurous and ordered boiled shrimp and it was pretty good, de-headed and butterflied similar to Hook & Boil. R&M Boiling Point is my personal gold standard when it comes to boiled shrimp at a restaurant for reference.

Owner came by and spoke with us, really nice guy and engaged with the customers. Gonna be hard compete with Hook & Boil, LT's, and Fezzo's within 3 miles of that place.

The booths suck, so request a table or bar seat if you go. They are not anchored to the ground and you can feel every movement of the person sitting directly behind you.
They need to remove the booth seats and just replace with normal chairs.

Every time I've had boiled shrimp there the shell was stuck to the shrimp and very difficult to peel. Not my definition of good boiled shrimp.

I was never really impressed with hook and boil.

It be like that sometimes. If you bring me a plate of hard-to-peel Boiling Point shrimp and some shrimp from The Point, I'm definitely still going Boiling Point. Guess I just like their method of seasoning/boiling more.

Anyone else go try The Pernt yet?
