I have been trying to get an oyster bed for the past two years but they have always been sold out. My mom was able to surprise me with one for Christmas this year. I'm excited to try it out and I wanted to know if anyone had one and what your favorite recipes were, so I could try them out myself.

I appreciate the help and hope ya'll have a good day.

This is great and has most everything you'll need in 1 package. You can get it at Sam's

I usually whip up a simple concoction of butter, worcestshire, garlic, hot sauce, and lemon juice.

I let the oysters cook alone, no sauce, for a few minutes. Then ladle the sauce on and a generous amount of parmesan. Let cook a little while longer.

It’s a nice presentation, but it’s a bitch to clean after multiple batches…I rarely use mine.

I was about to post this. My buddy has the stainless shells, he uses a grinder with a wire-wheel on his to clean them.

I myself either use a $4 muffin pan from the dollar store, put 2 or 3 oyster per hole. Come out okay but not as good as the ones off a natural shell.

They have some cast iron pans with the oyster shell indentions for sale on Amazon and elsewhere. Any reason "the oyster bed" is significantly better?

This is the exact recipe that I used last night. It turned out great. Due to the size of the oyster cups and the size of my oysters, I did 2 oysters per cup and it worked out perfect.

The only problem I had was getting my traeger up to the heat I wanted but that's a different problem.

I think that the oyster bed is supposed to be lighter and easier to clean since it's pewter.

Exact same concept though and I don't think it would be a huge difference maker
