I've literally never waited in line for a table at Cafe Du Monde. You just walk up to the entrance and spot a dirty table. Sit there and they'll clean it up for you.

Take a can of biscuits, cut the dough in small pieces, drop it in some hot oil, then cover in powdered sugar


Voila, guaranteed fresh hot beignets Has to be the most overrated food item of all time


They arent bad, but good God why to people talk about them so much? I contend if they didnt have a french name, and were simply called "powdered doughballs", nobody would champion for them

Just walk in the back and find a table. There ain't no damn hostess going to sit you.
