I don't like chops. I get a link from Billeaud's every Saturday morning. I enjoy it but I think Nunu's is better.

Had Kartchner's for the first time this weekend and it is possibly the best boudin I've ever eaten.

Baton Rouge boudin, sadly, is garbage.

The smoked boudin from Ronnies in Hammond, as well as the smoked varieties at both Bergerons and T-Jim's, are all great. I'll also add that the boudin rouge sample I had from T-Jim's was great as always. The Steens fresh sausage from Nunus is probably the best fresh sausage I've ever had.

I only buy Billy's. Nu Nus is OK. Best stop was spicier but I didn't find the taste better than Billy's.
Bourques in Port Barre is inconsistent. Good some days and no good others.
Herbert's just sucks.
Billy's is the same every day and it's delicious. I don't feel I'm missing out on anything by not trying others.
