As the heat rises, the tourists steer clear of New Orleans. And to lure locals to the table and bar, restaurants roll out summer deals.

ARNAUD'S REMOULADE
BORGNE
CAFÉ B
CARROLLTON MARKET
EMERIL'S
EMERIL'S DELMONICO
HORNS
KENTON'S
TRINITY
RESTAURANT R'EVOLUTION

Haven't been to Café B, Horns, Carrollton Market, or Trinity.

The happy hour at Borgne and Arnaud's remoulade is both solid.

Remoulade is bit of a hidden gem, especially for oysters and poboys. Anytime I see people lined up at Acme I laugh, because I can walk one block over to Remoulade and sit right at their oyster bar. Nicer/cleaner space with better offerings.

I've mentioned the Windsor Court plate lunch deal here several times. It's $19.84 and offers $2 martinis, cheaper than the ice tea. Here's a thread on it.
LINK

It's available 11:30 am to 2 pm, Mon-Sat all year round. It appears they update the plate lunch offerings on their website regularly. It's one of the best deals in town considering quality of the food and atmosphere etc.. I highly recommend it.
