I also went to walmart.com and did a search for various tastykakes, and it said that none of their products are sold within a 100 mile radius of my zip code (70817)... are you sure you aren't confusing Tastykakes with something else?

That picture brings back memories. I actually started my life of crime by getting busted at age 5 shoplifting tastycakes (butterscotch) at the A&P. I picked one up daily on my way home from Kindergarten.

OK well, I live right by O'Neal, and go there 2-3 times per week, and I've never seen them. You're telling me they're by the Hostess cakes, etc.?

You're kidding, right? I went there this morning and they had no clue what I was talking about. I am going to go again in the morning.

OK, so I just went to the O'Neal WalMart, and as directed, I went to the peanut butter aisle. I searched high and low for the Tastykakes, but none were to be found. They had Hostess, Little Debbie, Mrs. Freshley's, Dolly Madison, and some fat free cakes, but just as expected, no Tastykakes. So, I found an employee and asked her about it, but she didn't have a clue, so I asked for a manager. The guy came over and I explained to him the problem. Luckily, he was from Delaware and knew EXACTLY what I was talking about. He told me that they have never had Tastykakes and if they did, he would have bought them all himself. I told him that a person told me that they bought some there yesterday. He said, "Naaah... they are pulling your leg." I still wasn't convinced, so he took me to show me all of their inventory of every item they carry in their store. Once again, no Tastykakes. I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe you mistook them for something else, but when you said that you bought some yesterday, that proved to me that you straight up LIED and were trying to send me on some wild goose chase. Please don't waste anymore of my time. Shame on you.

LINK

you can buy them online if walmart stops selling them, it might have been a temporary thing. sorry i upset you in any way, that was not my intent.
they tend to put things on the shelf to see if it would sell and if it doesn't then they will take it off-i was once an employee there.

Sorry, but I don't believe a word you say. The manager told me straight up that you were lying. None of your story adds up, anyway. Why would they pull them off the shelves for not selling, when you said that you just bought some and they sell out fast? Your lies don't add up. Go back to the kids board and leave this one for the grown-ups.

South of Philly has them. I got some last week, the first day they were in. You can buy them individually or by the box.

They have them at South of Philly! You can buy a whole box for 6 dollars or 75 cents each.. I almost got one today. More reason for you to go try it.
